    How to View Google Photos on Apple TV [2 Easy Ways]

    Google Photos is one of the well-known and best app to store and share photos. Using the app, you can create slideshows, customized albums, and more. Though Google Photos is meant for Android users, it is liked by many iOS users because it offers unlimited cloud storage for photos and videos, whereas they have to pay for iCloud storage. Google Photos is not available as an official app for Apple TV.

    So, What can we do? With Google Photos updated version 2.4 and above, we can use it on Apple TV using the Airplay or Screen sharing method. Before we get into the steps, connect your iOS device and Apple TV to the same WiFi network.

    How to View Google Photos on Apple TV

    #1. Install Google photos from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

    Search for google photos on App store

    #2. After installing, open the Google Photos app.

    #3. Click on the Airplay icon on the app.

    #4. It will search for nearby Apple TV devices. Select your Apple TV device.

    #5. Now, select any photos, and it will be displayed on your Apple TV screen.

    Note: If you don’t find the Airplay icon on the app, use the following method to cast your photos.

    An Alternative Way

    #1. Open Control Centre on your iOS device.

    #2. Select the Screen mirroring option and select your Apple TV device.

    #3. The iOS device will be mirrored on your Apple TV.

    #4. Now, you can view your Google photos on Apple TV.

    How to Set Google Photos as Screensaver

    Note: This method is not applicable if you mirror your device.

    (1) Select an image that you want to set as a screensaver.

    (2) Go to Options and select Set as Screensaver.

    (3) Click on Confirm. The selected photo will be your screensaver.
