iCloud is the Apple-exclusive cloud storage service. Since it is part of the Apple ecosystem, it is shared with all your other devices. This means that you can access all your cloud content from all your devices. Apple iCloud is mainly used for photos, videos, contacts, calendars, files, notes, etc. The iCloud service is free of cost for 5GB by default. You can buy more storage with the subscription plans. In case you want to cancel your iCloud storage plan, you can do that too.
Once you connect your account to iCloud, all your data will be updated regularly. You can either manage it by clearing your iCloud storage or by buying some cloud data from Apple. If you have taken some alternative solution or have space but still paying extra for storage when you don’t need it, it’s best suggested that you downgrade your device.
