How to Reset PlayStation 4
There are different ways in which you can reset your PS 4 gaming console. The method includes
- Via Settings

Reset PS 4 Controller (PS4) via Settings
 Press the Power button of your PlayStation for a few seconds.
 Hold it until the device goes off completely.
 Again, press the Power button to turn on the device.
 Click on the Settings using your PS 4 controller.
- Optionally, select PlayStation Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4 > Deactivate. Now, restart the console manually.

Initialize PS4 – This method wipes out everything on your PS4, including the hard drive, back to default settings. Under Initialize PS4, there are two options, and they are
- Quick – This option deletes data from the PS quickly and initializes PS4. The data erased by this method can be retrieved by a third party using some specialized tool. The process takes very minimal time to complete
- Full – It does a complete wipeout of data and initializes PS4. It may take several hours to complete.

How to Hard Reset PS 4
 Press the Power button of your PlayStation console.
 Hold the button for about 30 seconds.
 Release the button when the screen turns off.
 Wait for a while, and press the Power button.
 Now, your PlayStation will automatically check for the error on your device.
 Wait for the process to complete in some time. When done, you can use the PS4 as usual.
Reset Display Settings on PlayStation 4 (Safe Mode)
 Turn off your Playstation device.
 Unplug all the connections in and out of your PlayStation device.
 Wait for some time and reconnect all the unplugged connections.
 Now, press the power button until you hear 2 beep sounds.
 Press the PS button on your controller to open Settings.
 From the settings, choose Display Settings.
 Set the correct resolution according to your screen and device hardware.
