    (3) Hit the Sign in button and enter your GitHub login credentials.

    (4) On your home page, click on the Profile icon at the top right and select Settings.

    Alternative Way to Enable Dark Mode on GitHub

    In addition to the above method, you can also enable the dark mode on GitHub using a dark mode extension.

    (1)  Open Chrome on your computer.

    (2) Type Chrome Web Store on the search bar and select the first website from the search results.

    (4) Select any dark mode extension from the search results.

    (5) Tap the Add to Chrome button and select Add Extension to install the extension on Chrome.

    Click Add Extension

    (6) After adding the extension, go to the GitHub website and log in to your account.

    Sign in to GitHub

    (7) Tap the dark mode extension icon exhibited near the address bar.

    (8) That’s it. You can use the entire Chrome browser, including the GitHub website in the dark theme.
